About the Project

A monumental, interactive
Game of the Goose

Installation on Madison Avenue

For her 2026 street art project, Gwendoline Finaz de Villaine invites Pauline Lévêque to collaborate on a giant artistic Game of the Goose, bridging Paris and New York.

  • A large ground mural (20 × 15 m) depicting a Game of the Goose board, illustrated by both artists and inspired by Paris and New York.
  • 63 squares lead to the Goose's castle, inviting the public to play as living pieces on the board using oversized foam dice.
  • A creative journey rich in symbolism — the well, death, the bridge — offering a life-size board game experience for all.
  • Visitors are immersed within the artwork itself, experiencing it like a stage set with a playful and convivial atmosphere.

« Déploie tes ailes, Oh !
Toi qui as goûté,
Goûté au dédale,
Des dalles en papier,
Plume par qui le sort,
Sort en est jeté,
La vie est loyale,
Comme un coup de dés. »
